JADPRO Wins 2 Prestigious ASHPE Awards

Huntington, NY – July 12, 2018 – The American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors (ASHPE) honored the Journal of the Advanced Practitioner in Oncology (JADPRO) with two awards for the second year in a row. In their annual competition, ASHPE recognizes outstanding editorial excellence and achievement in the field of healthcare publication. The awards program provides publications an opportunity to measure their work against the very best in the healthcare sector.
JADPRO, which is the official journal of APSHO, continues to provide award-winning content thanks to the dedication of advanced practitioners who share their expertise and time to contribute to the medical literature. JADPRO was awarded the following commendations.
- Gold Award for Best Use of Video, “Advanced Practitioners and Research: A Role for Everyone“
Last year, JADPRO won the Gold Award for Best Use of Video. This year, JADPRO claimed the award again for the opening video kicking off the JADPRO Live 2017 conference. The video chronicles the day-to-day life and aspirations of three advanced practitioners who are deeply passionate about the intersection of clinical practice and research. The three issues of JADPRO featured peer-reviewed articles on evidence-based practice and the role of the advanced practitioner in managing a wide variety of malignancies. All past articles published in JADPRO are available on advancedpractitioner.com.
The mission of the Journal of the Advanced Practitioner in Oncology (JADPRO) is to improve the quality of care for patients with cancer, support critical issues in advanced practice in oncology and recognize the expanding contributions of advanced practitioners in oncology.
